Have you just decided to take up gardening either as a hobby or if you have moved into a new home.

Gardening for some will provide countless hours of pleasure over many years but to some it is just a chore that needs to be done. Isn’t it strange how one persons pleasure can be another’s nemesis.

If you are a beginning gardener, you only need the basic garden supplies. As long as you can dig through the soil, plant the seeds or bulbs, and can water everything, you have pretty much all you need.

Later on you will want to buy more things. You may find some garden supplies make things easier for you, and this might be important if you have a bad back or perhaps problems with your knees. You may even find that you have so many tools that you need a place to store them.

The trick is to start with the basic gardening tools and add to them as needed. This can be either from your local gardening centre if you have one or alternatively there are some good online shops that will stock gardening supplies and tools you have never heard of before, all designed to make gardening as easy as possible though.
